Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative, compassionate, and influential nurse leader in the Deputy Director of Nursing role at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. You will be a very senior professional on the Health Board. You will be a core member of the Nursing Board, have high levels of integrity and emotional intelligence, and ensure that nursing, midwifery, and specialist community nursing in public health (The professions SCPHN) contribute to the Health Board’s strategic and operational objectives. The role will also ensure that the nursing profession is developed to maximize its role in providing safe, high-quality care to patients and service users in one of the largest Health Boards. This role will ensure, together with the Executive Director of Nursing, the Deputy Director of Nursing and other nursing management colleagues, that the Health Board meets its statutory duties and requirements relevant to the nursing and health agenda. Health Council.
